This book is a vessel you can board, a vessel that can take you on an inner space travel through nine portals. From each portal emerge images, poems, experiences, and reflections. These apertures reveal dimensions of the odyssey into Consciousness. Luminous Portals speaks of my journey but also of yours, for while delving into the inner subaquatic and skyborne worlds — we reconnect with what connects us all. This multilayered work uses art to take us through the veils between the invisible and the seen. Suffused with the spiritual, immaterial, we can transcend the conformed mind to venture into the higher spheres, the subtle and sublime.

About Patricia Escobar
I was born in Toronto, Canada, to Colombian parents. After completing my university studies in the fine arts, I moved to France and studied to become a teacher. I taught English and Spanish in private schools and universities in France and Switzerland before deciding to work solely as an artist. After experiencing a spiritual awakening, I began the beautiful but also painful process of death and rebirth; Luminous Portals is the book that was forged in that fire.
